The Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford has received its 10th nomination for Venue of the Year from the Academy of Country Music. The 9,000-seat amphitheater sits on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee, and will open for its 2019 season with a popular country act, Old Dominion.
The best freestyle skiers in the country will compete at Waterville Valley for the 2019 US Freestyle Championships on March 15 and 16, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Both moguls and dual moguls competitions will take place.

Enjoy classic hits like “Sailing” and “Ride Like the Wind” performed by Christopher Cross at Tupelo Music Hall on Thursday, March 14 at 8 p.m. The Grammy Award-winning artist is making a New Hampshire stop on his 2019 "Take Me As I Am" Tour.
Firefighters and police officers from all over New Hampshire will gather on Saturday, March 16 at 5 p.m., at SNHU Arena in Manchester for the CHaD Battle of the Badges Hockey Game. The game raises funds annually for the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, and is a fun, eagerly anticipated event each year. Tickets are available online!

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York and Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts will visit this week. Gillibrand will meet with the New Hampshire Safe Water Alliance, as well as with former state representative and congressional candidate Mindi Messmer, who heads the group. The meeting will take place on Friday, March 15 at 11 a.m. at the Portsmouth Library. Warren will host a campaign planning event that evening in Exeter at 7 p.m. at the Exeter Town Hall.
