Go back in time a few decades at Cask & Vine this coming New Year’s Eve. Their “NYE 5th Anniversary 80s Prom Night” is sure to cause some nostalgia, lots of big hair and some great laughs. Visit the local thrift shops—or your parent’s closets—in search of 80s prom attire, then check back in December for tickets and more information.
Libby’s Bistro & Saalt’s Pub are owned and operated by a husband and wife team in Gorham, New Hampshire. She runs the bistro and she runs the pub. The two are side-by-side in the same building. Beginning at 8 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, Earth Eagle Brewings will celebrate Green Hour. Don’t mistake the “hour” part for a one-hour event, as they clearly plan to ring in the New Year. This will be an absinthe-themed New Year’s Eve party, where absinthe will be featured in several cocktails. Not even sure what it is? It’s an emerald colored very high proof spirit made from herbs, including wormwood. Period music will play throughout the evening and green lights will add ambience. A champagne toast will bring in the New Year.
