The Mission of Spaulding High School, in partnership with our community, is to provide a quality education by recognizing and developing the talents of all students. In a respectful environment, we will encourage students to establish a life plan, to maximize their potential, and to become productive citizens.
History
Spaulding High School, which opened in 1939, is considered one of the most beautiful high school facilities in New England. With the addition of the Richard W. Creteau Regional Technology Center in 1990, the original building was extensively renovated.
The school has a student population of more than 1,500 students in grades 9-12. Students are offered a broad curriculum, with a strong focus on high academic standards in all areas. Academics are complemented by a full range of extracurricular activities including drama, sports, music, and vocational clubs and planned social events.
