The Town of Stratham, located in Rockingham County in the heart of the seacoast, encompasses over 15 square miles and is situated within easy access to major commuting routes. Stratham was settled in 1631 by Captain Thomas Wiggin, who became the first governor of the province of New Hampshire. Stratham consists of both rural farms and busy shopping centers, peaceful residential homes and condominiums, and beautiful country views.

The community boasts numerous quality subdivisions and townhouse complexes in varying price ranges. The tax base is assisted by the Stratham Industrial Park as well as several convenient shopping plazas.
