Another Tequila Sunrise and Hey Nineteen present Music of The Eagles and Steely Dan

History often repeats itself.  And there is certainly history between 70’s rockers the Eagles and Steely Dan. In 1976, the track ‘Everything You Did’ from Steely Dan’s, The Royal Scam, features the line, “Turn up the Eagles, the neighbors are listening”.  Allegedly, Walter Becker’s girlfriend loved the Eagles, and as the story goes, this line stemmed from an argument between the two of them. While the Eagles were upfront about their admiration of Steely Dan, they weren’t about to be out-done, and fired back with the line, “Stab them with your Steely knives, but just can’t kill the beast” from the title track of the iconic Hotel California album. Finally, an opportunity to bring together the music from these two legendary groups has arrived, and history will repeat itself.

ANOTHER TEQUILA SUNRISE is America’s premier Tribute to the Eagles. Since 2001, this New England based tribute band has been delighting sell-out crowds across the country with a catalog of music that encompasses the classics and deep cuts from the Eagles’ studio collection, as well as, the biggest hits from the solo careers of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, and Joe Walsh. Along with HEY NINETEEN, an eleven-piece groove machine, which brings an enormous amount of energy and the authentic sounds of Steely Dan. Playing big hits and the deep cuts, from ‘Do It Again’ to ‘Your Gold Teeth II’, from ‘Reelin’ in the Years’ to “Doctor Wu” and many more.
