A very cozy interior. There was a fireplace that was going and it made it feel very quaint. The staff was friendly. The food was delicious as well. Good choice of beers on draft. On Wednesday’s they have trivia which is fun and the host is nice and funny. Parking can be a little tough but there is a large parking lot next to Margaritas that you can park in and it is only a 5 minute walk.
"Fodys" as it is affectionately known by locals is a pretty good bar. Unable to speak to the atmosphere or quality, previous to 8pm (as my visits have been for the night scene) - I can confidently say that this location is in my top 3 favorite locations for getting drinks. It is a classy spot that offers a knowledgeable bar staff that are knowledgeable mixologist. It often features local musicians that perform in a very intimate setting. In terms of decor; the best way to describe it would be to imagine a low lit restaurant with an emphasis on earthly decor, that gives it a "comfortable" feel. Dont expect an overly lively scene such as a club.
Only was here for karaoke and beers but place was super cozy and quick service for the amount of people there, good prices too.
The food was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to meet my expectations. I would highly recommend Fody's to anyone looking for a great place to eat. The calamari was out of this world. The steak tip salad I ordered came in a huge portion. the duck empanata my grandfather ordered had a beautiful crisp dough and was seasoned perfectly. The prices were very reasonable and we both recommend it to anyone. Every time I come to NH I make it a point to stop here.
The night I went, there was a water issue which I didn't realize until I went to the ladies room. Shouldn't I have been informed when being seated? The food was only OK. The service was good.
