Please join us at the Redfern’s Wright Theatre for Diana Son’s “Stop Kiss”, a moving, witty play about the ways lives can change when the opportunity to act on true and honest feelings arise unexpectedly.
Sara, a transplant to New York from St. Louis, meets Callie, a native of the city, and the connection between them is unlike anything either has ever experienced. The choice of whether or not to embrace it and how it affects the two and those around them becomes Callie and Sara’s journey.
First performed at the Joseph Papp Public Theater in NYC in December 1998, this engaging play examines the boundaries of sex, gender and sexuality, depicting the discrimination that existed twenty years ago and which remains an issue today.
Performances are November 13 -17, 2018 at 7:30 pm with a 2pm matinee on the 17th. Tickets are $12 for the general public, $8 for seniors and youth, and $6 for KSC Students.
Due to adult language and mature subject matter, Stop Kiss is recommended for high school age and older.
