Rochester Memorial Day Parade Sponsorship

In conjunction with various local organizations, the Rochester Veterans Council is planning the Rochester Memorial Day Parade on Monday May 27, 2024. The parade will be held to honor those who have served our nation’s military and paid the ultimate sacrifice. If not for people like them, we may not have the freedoms we all hold so dear today.

Last years parade went very well and we look to build on it this year. That cannot happen without out support from our great local businesses like yours. We want you and your business to be part of that this year and hope that you can join us.

The parade will feature a variety of military units, veteran’s groups, local marching bands, Police, Fire, EMS, local sponsor companies and more. Our goal is to include as many local veterans in our parade as possible. To be able to do that we are looking at alternate transportation methods for those veterans that are unable to get around as easy as they used to. This is not inexpensive but will be key to ensuring these veterans are included in the parade while being comfortable and engaging.

There will be set categories/sections of the parade based on War Time Era’s – WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War, and the Global War on Terror which will each have individual sponsorship opportunities.

Please Note: All funds through sponsorship or donations will primarily be used to conduct the Rochester Memorial Day Parade. Any remaining funds will be used by the Rochester Veterans Council for continued support of our veterans in the community.
