They also feature a selection of Master Classes for intermediate to experienced-level adult and teen artists. Taught by experienced artists and art instructors, the classes come highly recommended by countless people from within the New England art community.

Sign up for classes in painting photography, ceramics, metalworking and more at AVA Gallery and Art Center in Lebanon. Held seasonally, the classes typically incorporate New Hampshire’s eclectic natural bounty. Classes and workshops are added frequently, so check back with them often if you don’t immediately see something that intrigues you.
Featuring art classes for adults and students, Jackson Art Studio & Gallery teaches the many facets of painting. This fall’s workshop was “Painting the Fall Landscape,” and it including instruction in both color and composition. Similar classes/workshops will take place throughout the year.

Art classes held at the School of Art at Kimball Jenkins Estate are available for both adult and students, and feature a wide range of mediums. Choose from abstract painting, printmaking, watercolors, acrylic painting, pottery, handbuilding in clay, sketching and nature journaling. Taught by local artists, these classes are popular and tend to fill up relatively fast. Check the website or call for class schedules.
The Craft Center at the League of N.H. Craftsmen offers art classes and craft workshops throughout the year. Check the website frequently for the list of upcoming options.
Art classes at Terrapin Glassblowing Studio include both Hot Shop Classes and Flame Shop Classes. Students are taught how challenging this medium is to work with and how to do so safely, but artistically. Classes are open to those aged seven and up, but a parent/guardian must accompany all students under the age of 16.

Learn the art of pottery, stained glass, clay sculpting, painting and drawing at Studio 550 Art Center in Manchester. Classes are held for adults and kids, as well as for varying levels of artistry. Gift certificates are available for classes, and date night classes are held, too.
Art classes abound at Creative Ventures Gallery. The current roster includes Beginner Acrylic Workshop, Animal Sculpture Workshop, Glass Painting Workshop, Secrets of Sizzling Color. Workshop, Mixed Media Play Workshop and Plein Air Painting Process Workshop. Two holiday workshops include Skull Sculpting and Tiny Tangled Houses. Most classes are for ages 16 through adult, and they are very affordable. Most workshops are held in two sessions on a weekend day, with others being held in just one evening session.
At Littleton Studio School, students of all ages can take classes in pottery throwing, watercolors, jewelry making, string art and metalworking. Taught by local artists, classes range from beginner level and up, with many featuring ongoing levels so students may become even more proficient at their craft.
