The skate park at Alexander-Carr Park was originally established in 1997 and was reconstructed again in 2003. The park now includes concrete obstacles which create a challenging street level course. This part of the park does have lights that are on until 9:30 pm seasonally. It's important to note that the skate park is restricted to use of skateboards and rollerblades only. Bicycles are NOT permitted. The Department recommends that all participants wear helmets and protective safety gear. All visitors of the park under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
